BioRiver: River is a young fixed female, estimated to be one year old. The vet believes she is some mix of Akita and Shepherd. River is extremely loving and still shows young playful energy. She is getting along well with our other dogs but has occasionally shown territorial aggression over toys and food. She was found with another dog called Petey, and she shows no aggression towards him at all. So, adopting both River and Petey together would be ideal for someone who wants multiple dogs. However, if adopting River alone, then she might do best in a single-dog home. She has shown no aggression at all towards us, and will often jump up in our laps and lay down for love and kisses. She's a gorgeous dog with two different color eyes.
