Meet RJ! This dog is AMAZING!!!! Great family dog right here in Kansas City and ready for a home of his own. He is a lover!! He is a people dog for sure! He likes to be pet and held. His foster home has a 5 yr old boy that he LOVES!! The feeling is mutual as you can see from the picturesHe is unsure on a leash and just needs more practice. He sleeps in a crate. He does well with other dogs. He rides well in a car Basics: He is a neutered male guessed to be around 1 yr and weighs close to 20lbs. He is currently in a foster home in Kansas City, MO with 5 other small dogs. Adoption Process: - Please fill out our adoption application: https://www.dayofthedogs.org/adoption-application - One of our team members will get back to you via phone. - Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding - Adoption fee helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip. -We do not place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt. NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available. About Us: Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit. Since 2015 we have been dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland and the Kansas City area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Kansas City and NW Indiana areas.
