Description:
Dante (shelter name Romeo) is a true come back kid. Dante arrived to the shelter after he and his mate were neglected and ultimately abandoned by their owner. Since being in foster he has been treated for a severe respiratory infection, underwent eye surgery to correct a structural defect, neutered and is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. Additionally, he went from a severely emaciated 65pds to a healthy 95pds. He is crate trained, potty trained, no pray drive and good with cats and dogs, gentle on leash, good with crowds, loud noises and storms. Rides well in cars. Knows how to fetch and sit. Treat motivated. No separation anxiety. Dante is a gentle giant in every sense and is looking for a furever home that he can be an active part of the family.
