Meet Samuel, the sweetest puppy you'll ever meet! At just eight months old, Samuel's story started out as a heartbreaking tale. He was brought to us by good Samaritan who spotted him and knew this little guy needed some help. He barely weighed 20lbs when he came in, probably half of what he should be by now. Despite his challenging beginning, Samuel is an incredibly loving and friendly pup. He has a blast getting playtime in the yard and will seek out all the toys to sample each one. We hope whoever adopts this special pup will have a basket filled with them for him to enjoy! Even though he's a young, energetic boy, he is also very gentle. Seeing his skinny frame and hungry stomach, you'll be amazed at how gently he will take treats from your hand. He even knows how to sit! Samuel is curious about other dogs, so if you have a pup at home, bring them along for a meet and greet at the shelter to see how they get along. Samuel is ready for his sad days to be far in his past with only good things to come.
