Adopt Sasha a Black - with Brown, Red, Golden, Orange or Chestnut Hound (Unknown
Hands to Paws took in Sasha when the rescue she was with had to downsize. Sasha is a senior and very calm in the house. She is super low-maintenance and probably the least "needy" dog ever to take care of. She loves to lie on her "princess" dog bed for hours. Sasha is housebroken, crate trained, and very grateful to be in a nice safe place. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, up-to-date on her vaccines and on monthly heartworm/flea & tick preventative. Sasha LOVES to play with spiney squeaky balls but she doesn't really "play" with other dogs. Sasha gets along with better with other male dogs than female dogs. She prefers to be left alone and does get a little testy if another dog keeps bothering her. Sasha would be a perfect dog for someone looking for a laid-back, calm, easy-going dog. April 2021 update: Sasha went to visit a potential home where she was the only pet in the home. In that situation, she was more of a "watchdog" (barking at people outside the home) and protective of the elderly resident of the home.
