Adopt Scotch a Brown/Chocolate American Pit Bull Terrier dog in Michigan City

Scotch is one of those dogs whose smile and nonstop wagging tail makes all of our days better. Some pups prefer distance and space, but not our Scotch. Scotch believes he is a lap dog and wants to be right near you. It would be so awesome if whoever adopts him also likes to snuggle. Scotch definitely needs an adopter who is as affectionate as he is! His great body language when meeting people doesn't stop at just people! He's shown positive interest in other dog friends, too! We're not sure about kitties yet. If your kiddos are sturdy, we think he'd be the best big furbrother to them. Scotch is learning polite good-boy manners like sitting and taking treats politely. He is so eager to meet people that he gets so excited! We're teaching him to not jump and he is mastering that like the awesome student we knew he would be. We love his energy level -- he is active but then after a short bit likes to lay down and relax. Scotch's ideal day would be one that involves a walkie and cuddling. He also does great with enrichment toys. He is very food motivated so he will sniff and work through those enrichment puzzles which helps to tire him out, too!
