Adopt Sheba von Sarstedt a Black - with Tan, Yellow or Fawn German Shepherd Dog
Los Angeles, CA
Sheba von Sarstedt is a stunning 3 year-old, long-haired German Shepherd. This beauty with the luscious long coat loves to sit by your side and take in all the affection you want to give her. She's so sweet, she'll even give you kisses! Sheba is a mid-energy girl who knows basic commands such as “sit” and “down” and will take treats gently from your palm. On a leash, she starts out excitedly but settles quickly and is happy to be on a walk. Sheba loves being in the playgroups, meeting furry friends, exploring the yard and splashing in the kiddie pool! (No kitties please.) Don't hesitate to come meet this beautiful and sweet girl! IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN Sheba von Sarstedt YOU MUST FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE: www.sheprescue.org Application link: http://www.sheprescue.org/Application_to_Adopt_a_Dog%20Main.html Based on our experience, Westside's current thinking is to usually match first-time shepherd owners with a mix versus a purebred shepherd. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
