Sonny is a smart boy who loves to learn and will show off his knowledge of "Sit", "Shake", "Catch", and "Down" and is ready to learn anything new. In fact, learning new tricks, training, and playing games is how he bonds with new people. He has done well in a calm environment and likes structure in knowing what to expect next. He enjoys a good snuggle with familiar people which means he won't always wait until you're sitting down and will stand between your legs to make sure he gets his daily quota of snuggles. With slow and proper introductions, he may do well with dogs of similar size and low energy but he should not live in a home with cats. He has not been acclimated to children and we recommend a home where there are no children. " I am currently available for adoption, but I'm also in need of a temporary foster home while I wait for my future family. Fostering means providing me with a safe and caring space where I can learn, grow, and share my unique personality while waiting for adoption.
