Is there a better name than "Steak" for this beefcake? Steak is an approximately 10 months to a 1 year old mixed breed dog who came in as a stray and never reclaimed. He is a very handsome guy, and we believe him to be a Rottweiler x Pitbull mix. He weighs approximately 65 lbs and is a cute brindle tricolor. Steak is a young dog, and has lots of play energy. He is an intelligent dog and really just needs some training refreshers and he will make someone an awesome dog! He seems to do ok with other dogs here, and met cats here at the shelter and was so confused. We do not think he has had prior cat exposure, so while he wasn't aggressive, anyone applying who has cats should be prepared for a long acclimation/adjustment period to make them successful together. His adoption fee is $120 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccinations, and negative heartworm test. Please call 630-553-XXXX or email XXXX@Kendallcountyil.gov for more information or to adopt.
