Adopt Sundae a Gray/Blue/Silver/Salt & Pepper American Pit Bull Terrier dog in
San Francisco, CA
Sundae was given to us by a childhood friend who could not keep her and didn't trust all the people who were interested in her. I was told she was the runt of the litter and that she has a lot of gumption. We took her in and our amstaff Bruxin loves her like she was his own. Unfortunately when she was about 8 mnths or so she was attacked by another dog very badly and since then she has had a fear of other dogs. It takes her quite a while to get use to them so it's best if she goes to a home that does not have any other animals. This is something that will need to be worked on with her. She has been very traumatized ever since. Although we have spent plenty of time trying to train manners with her she still tends to jump on people especially upon 1st meeting them. So manners will be another thing that needs to be focused on as well as leash manners. We have tried all different type of leash training with her and it seams that treats and a slip leash work the best. She is a lovebug!
