Susie, 8 months old, belonged to an elderly woman who had to go into hospice care. She surrendered Susie along with her two siblings, Pete and Brandy, to me on March 7, 2024. She is so darn cute, and very loving, playful, and affectionate. She loves to run fast and chase anything you can throw- balls, sticks, whatever. She can be shy when first meeting someone new, and needs time to warm up. She likes other dogs as long as she is properly introduced with a leash-walk, even just 5-10 minutes. She does not react to my cats. She is a nice size at around 40 pounds. She likes to go on walks, and just be with her person. Susie is crate-trained and because she is still a puppy, she needs to be supervised when inside the house. She seems nervous around young children. Because of this, and also that she can be nervous with new people and new situations, she might be best in a home with older children (age 14 and up), or no children.
