Adopt Tallulah von Tauer a Black - with Tan, Yellow or Fawn German Shepherd Dog
Los Angeles, CA
Tallulah von Tauer is a beautiful 2-year-old Shepherd mix. Not only is she an eye-catching beauty, but Tallulah definitely gets the Miss Congeniality Award. She is the sweetest girl you can meet with a super, easy-going personality and a wagging tail for all. She puts her medium energy to good use rubbing against people, asking for petting and treats (she loves her treats so offer them with an open palm). She is very happy to be put on her leash and go for a walk. Excited by the adventure, she may pull but is very responsive to direction. As for the other dogs on the walk, the more the better. She is welcoming to all new friends. Off-leash in playgroups, Tallulah is comfortable, friendly and social to everyone, canine and human alike. She frequently checks in with her people to see who is available to dispense attention and loving. She knows her sit command and is ready and willing to learn so much more. Who knows? Maybe she can earn the Most Accomplished Award as well. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN Tallulah von Tauer YOU MUST FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE: www.sheprescue.org Application link: http://www.sheprescue.org/Application_to_Adopt_a_Dog%20Main.html Based on our experience, Westside's current thinking is to usually match first-time shepherd owners with a mix versus a purebred shepherd. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
