Hey there! I'm Taz! I'm a young husky/shepherd mix that was surrendered to the shelter with my sister Trixie because we weren't getting along with the cat in the home. That being said, I've found myself homeless and in search of my new forever home! Not gonna lie, I am a little freaked out being here at the shelter, even though everyone has been so nice and patient with me! I don't like my kennel, but once I'm outside, I am a lot more happy and willing to get attention. I am not very good at walking on a leash, but with some time, patience, and confidence boosting, I think I could get the hang of it! I am a mix of two very smart breeds after all! I have lived with kids and was friendly with them, but given my size and timidness around people sometimes, I would probably do best with older kids. I also lived in my home with other dogs besides my sister in my home, but they say I don't do well with other male dogs. I may be able to share a home with a female dog in the future though! My sister and I are not bonded, but we do love each other and wouldn't mind going to our new forever home together if someone is willing to love us both! I am working on gaining confidence in the situation I've found myself in, but I would love to just break free of this place and find my new home! Could that be with you? I'd love to meet you!
