Timber is a 2 year old, 50lb shepherd mix that came up to us from Missouri. He is fully potty trained, crate trained, and very good on leash. He does well with other dogs and cats, but can play a little too rough for small dogs and cats so we do not recommend those in his forever home. We recommend any dog friends in his forever home be 35lbs and up! Timer is a VERY energetic, smart boy. He knows sit, down, and touch and loves to continue working on other training/enrichment skills. Timber would largely benefit from a home with a fenced in yard for him to roam and explore in. One of his favorite things to do in his foster home is spend time outside lounging and roaming the yard with his toys. He does really well with kids. We recommend any children in his home be 3 and above.Apply at Www.foreverhomedogs.org. His adoption fee is $250.All adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots. Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.
