This adorable puppy Timmy found himself at a large county shelter where he was diagnosed with parvovirus, which he miraculously survived. He also has a fractured femur which will be treated with an amputation. Due to the severity of his injuries, the shelter had no choice but to plan euthanasia, but the rescue coordinator was so impressed by his sweet nature in spite of all that he had been through that she sent out multiple pleas for help, one of which reached WARF. A temporary foster was arranged 20 minutes before Timmy was to die, and now he is safe and out of the shelter! We are working on scheduling surgery for the week of May 27th and hoping to find a foster or adopter with a nice, quiet environment for him to recover in.
