Adopt Trust a Black German Shepherd Dog / Mixed dog in Philadelphia
Hi! My name is Trust (My foster parents call me Otto) I am currently in a Foster Home. I'm a sweet and lively puppy. My favorite thing in the world is to play fetch. I also love to play with my foster brother and sister, who are two adult Bassett Hound mixes. I'm already house trained, crate trained, and getting very good at some basic commands, especially sit and stay. He is consistently showing improvement on a leash, only pulling some of the time. With very consistent training, I will be an incredibly fast learner.Trust has an incredibly sweet demeanor - he loves pets and kisses on the head and belly rubs. We have seen no signs of aggressive behavior in him. He has also been around children as well with no signs of aggression. However, it's important to know he does get scared very easily, especially of loud and new noises, or other dogs barking.Trust's perfect family would be one with no children or older children, unless the adopter's family with small children are really understanding of the time he needs to adapt to his new surroundings and noises, as he will bark and act skittish out of fear initially. Trust loves playing with other dogs, so a home with another playful dog would be a plus! As he has a lot of energy, he'll need a very active family who will take him on long walks, jogs, or has a yard to play fetch him regularly. Please email XXXX@pspca.org for more information on the adoption process.
