Tucker is 7.5 months old, 36 lbs. boy that is waiting for his forever home. Tucker is a bit shy but it doesn’t take long for him to be playful with humans and other dogs. Tucker is on the submissive side and will shy away from dogs who are hyperactive. He will feel more at home with dogs with low-medium energy like him. His favorite activity is to lay on the couch with a chew toy and watching tv. He is happy with a short walk to the park or run in the backyard. Tucker sleeps well in his crate and potties outside the house. He needs more leash-training. Rescue story: Tucker was found abandoned in an area known as a dumping ground in north Houston. His finder felt bad for him because she could tell that Tucker is shy and decided to foster him.Tuckeris up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort.If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA.
