Adopt Tucker a Tan/Yellow/Fawn German Shepherd Dog / Labrador Retriever / Mixed
Tucker is such a smart and cute dog. He craves attention around the clock and loves to play outside. He knows sit, shake, and lay down. We adopted him from a shelter in 2015 and I'm not sure if he was abused from his previous three owners or what, but he's come a long way. He can be a grumpy old man at times and will let you know with a grumble when he wants to be left alone. He is good with our other dog, but not with our 1yr old baby, which is why we are looking for a new home for him.Loves the dog park, but usually keeps to himself and explores. He does have separation anxiety and may howl when you leave the house. We have been working with positive reinforcement where he gets a filled Kong when we leave that keeps him busy, happy, and that we will come back. He is house and crate trained and cannot be free fed as he is a gobbler. He is going on 8, but has so much energy! I think he'd benefit in a home with no children under 13, who may have another dog he can become friends with.
