Adopt Woody - Central TX a White Bichon Frise / Mixed dog in Tulsa

Woody is just a lovely sweet distinguished gentleman! His owner passed away, recently. He’s almost completely housebroken and just needs his human to keep him on a consistent schedule. He will also go to the door to also signal he needs out. He loves laying nearby and will come close and roll on to his back so you can give him belly scratches. He will look up at you with adoration while you do this and that is enough of a reward! He’s patient and allows bathing, grooming, his paws being touched, and his teeth being looked at. He doesn’t mind being picked up and enjoys cuddles. He has a good level of energy for a 9 year old! He is happy to go in the car and shivers with excitement. He’s learning to be a great leash walker and gets very excited to see other dogs. He seems to love all humans, including the small kid kind, and all dogs. He is pretty quiet and only barks to alert if he hears a strange sound. He likes to sleep at the foot of my bed at night, and sweetly waits to wake me up around 6am for breakfast and walk. But he will wait until 10am for his walk if I need extra sleep. He’s now met the resident dog and they are friends already. He does not seem super interested in toys or bones but as he gets more confident I think he will be. He’s kind of perfect! He would do best with someone who works from home, or a friendly confident dog friend in the home. Woody is a wonderful dog! Is your's his forever home? He will need another dog in the home or someone that is home most of the time. Children in the home need to be at least 10 years old. He is located in Central TX.
