American Pit Bull Terrier-Anatolian Shepherd Mix DOG FOR ADOPTION RGADN-1017675
American Pit Bull Terrier-Anatolian Shepherd Mix Dog for Adoption in Clarkston, Michigan, 48347 USNickname: Elk Posted Breed: Anatolian Shepherd / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed. Elk is a very smart boy who knows how to read the room and match your energy level. He has been exposed to cats, but is not a fan of other dogs so a home without them is necessary. He enjoys leash walks, especially if he can take his time sniffing, exploring, and understanding his environment. Elk likes a leisurely paced walk so he can absorb all the exciting scents out there! This gentle giant wants to learn and is looking for someone to give him direction. He would really like a calm home with a regular routine. Elk would thrive in a home where he is able to bask in the sunshine from the windows or play tug on his fav rope toy. He is wonderful in is crate and knows to potty outside. He loves car rides and is a great passenger. Elk also LOVES treats :) The volunteers just love his silly personality! Fill out an application to meet him! We do not have a facility for you to visit. WE PROCESS APPLICANTS AND SET APPOINTMENTS BASED ON THE ORDER APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVED , so while you are welcome to email ccrcdogsccrcdogs with specific questions, you will want to complete the ONLINE APPLICATION ASAP , which can be found at .ccrcdogs, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10 day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fee is $200 for adults and $275 for puppies, which covers the cost of the spay/neuter, age appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. The majority of dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers, so there is often very little known about their history or even current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC provides a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, as well as telephone support.
