American Pit Bull Terrier Mix Dog for Adoption in Huntsville, Alabama, 35806 USNickname: Violet Posted Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed. Hi, I'm Violet! I'm a happy and very friendly little lady who hasn't met a stranger! I have very good manners, and love hanging out with the volunteers. The best part is that they take me for a swim too!! I know some commands, and am pretty low key because I just want to cuddle a bit and relax! I can't wait to have a new family to spend time with and be a prefect little couch potato (although I may snore a bit if I doze off :>!). Unfortunately I've tested positive for heartworms, but the good news is that I've finished my treatment and just have to be on limited activity for a little while. When I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, and the most guesses were that I'm an American Pit Bull Terrier mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!! **Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.
