Meet Dakota Age: 6 years Breed: Red American Staffordshire Terrier Dakota is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves her walks and enjoys spending time in the water. Sheâs an easy walker on a loose leash, though she may need a little boost to get into the car. Dakota walked great alongside Whooper and even joined a Pack Walk on 8/25/24. Although her walker didnât fill out a survey, Dakota did well on the outing. She pulled a bit on the leash but took treats gently and loved cooling off in the pool. Playgroup Behavior: Gentle Dainty Selective: Dakota can be selective with her dog friends. Sheâs a bit stiff during greetings and prefers to cruise around. Reactivity: She can be reactive to barriers and has a few awkward moments with other dogs. Corrections and Steering: Dakota sometimes over-corrects but is steerable by handlers. She shows minor assertive tendencies. Looking For: Dakota would thrive in a home where she can enjoy plenty of affection and time outdoors.
