Aster is a male small dog mix breed. He resembles a chihuahua or very small terrier. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, wormed,microchipped and up-to-date on heartworm treatment. His birthday is December 4, 2023. He is currently 4 months old. His Foster Mom writes: He is a very active little boy (about 5lbs) and loves any play that involves running, chasing and rolling around. He also loves to be carried around in your arms. He will play-bite a lot (which is common in the small breeds like hers) but understands ‘no’ and ‘no bite.’ When worn out he loves to fall asleep snuggled up to you. I have 4 dogs—all much larger than Poppy—and he wants to chase and play rough-and-tumble with them. I tend to keep my dogs (all over 10 years old) away from him and his sister (Poppy) just to make sure no one is too upset. Aster shouldn’t go to a home with small children but would probably love a home with another dog that is patient with hisyoung puppy antics. He will need lots of toys and chew toys too. He has seen cats and is very interested in them but I have not let him near them because my cats will swat at new dogs.
