Looking for a new adventure partner? Check me out! I am Wolfie, a Kelpie mix around 1 year old. Unfortunately I found myself in a rural kill shelter until my fosters picked me up. I have been learning lots of new things. I'm smart and will need help with training and socialization. I'm a little slow to warm up with strangers in the house but treats help! Toys are my absolute favorite; my fosters have a huge toy bin and I play with them all. I love playing fetch, too, and would like a yard to run around. I have lots of energy but walks/hikes help and then I can chill. I love the dog door and am potty trained. I can be trusted to be left out when my fosters aren't here. I only use a crate at night to sleep. I like to be near you and will give a little cuddle. I will need help to remember not to use my teeth. True to my breed sometimes I forget that hands and feet are not attached to cows. But I'm getting better every day! To meet Wolfie, please complete an application at caws/adoption-application. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process.
