My foster parent says I am sweetness + + + +! Wow! I was sent to a shelter with a buddy I lived with, and the nice people there reached out to NRGRR. They were so nice to save us so I’m always on my best behavior to thank them! I’ve been told I’m 16 years young. I still get around really well, although my eyesight and my hearing aren’t what they used to be. I’ve been told I don’t hear too well, or maybe it’s “selective listening.” I have some arthritis and I take some medication to make me more comfortable. Because of that, a home with only a few steps would be best for me. My doctors were surprised at what great shape I’m in! I’ve seen a lot in my time, and I think we all just need to love each other. That’s why I get along great with other dogs and even the kitties! We all just want a home where we can be loved so the more the merrier! I love meeting people, too. More hands mean more petting! But my FAVORITE thing to do is lie on the porch and just watch life. I am a pretty furry guy so if it gets too hot I know where the AC is! I’ve been told I’m a gentleman on the leash and only need short walks. Maybe we can have lunch at the park? Or wade into the creek. But no swimming for me. I prefer to stay on solid ground. I’m great in the house and I don’t need, or even like, a crate. My foster parent leaves me out in the house when she must run errands and I don’t disturb a thing! I’m not really interested in toys but if you have a dog biscuit I’m your guy!
