This adorable pup is Banjo! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 5/25, and no one has come to reclaim him. Banjo is now hoping for a new forever home where he will be loved, cherished, and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Banjo as friendly, curious, and a bit shy. In the shelter he tends to hide on the back side of his kennel and will shake because he's nervous. He will come to greet you for treats and kind pets. If you have a soft spot for the shy kids, you really need to meet Banjo. He has a heart of gold that we know will shine once he's able to relax in a loving home outside of the shelter. It does appear as though Banjo has entropian eyelids and this will require a minor surgical procedure. Please speak to your veterinarian. Banjo is approximately 1.5 years old, and he weighs 72 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Banjo is waiting to meet you in run 876; his ID # is 658021.
