Hi my name is Bess!!! But I go by Poppy. Now I know what you are thinking...wait a minute, this isnt an aussie?!!!! No not officially, but I was taken in as an honorary Aussie!!!! I am 6-7 months old, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. I am treated monthly so i dont get yucky ticks and fleas too. So why am I an honorary Aussie you ask? Well someone found me amd I wasnt doing so good. I wasnt in a good environment at all and somehow got a treble fish hook stuck in my front paw and another in my lower gums inside my mouth and then my paw got hooked onto my mouth. It hurt so bad! I was rushed down the street to a firefighters house for help by someone else and boy did I hit the jackpot, the lady that got me better was an aussie foster!!! She rushed me to the ER and the dr helped me so much and it took me some time to heal and i wasnt drinking well, but after time, love and a few more vet visits, I am completely better!!! I am a small girl, approximately 9-10 lbs. My drs say I wont get any bigger than I am now, so I am perfect size for a true lap dog, i love to snuggle. I love to play, and I am super good around other pups too!!! I do so good around kids, but I prefer a family with older kids though please. I dont have much interaction with cats because the ones I knew, i growled at and they ran away. I just didnt know what they were and I got scared is all. I do love riding in the car and going places!!! I used to live in Arkansas but now I am living in Pennsylvania awaiting my new furever family.
