Betsy (formerly known as “Twizzler”) was returned to the shelter. She was living in an apartment and the adopters felt that she would be happier living in a home with a yard. The previous adopters reported that she is partially housetrained and lived indoors. She will come up to you to let you know she needs to go outside. She is crate trained and knows “sit”. Betsy was protective of her family and would sometimes get jealous if other dogs were around her owners. She did well with other dogs in public. She has never been around cats, children, livestock, or chickens. Betsy likes going for walks and playing fetch. She LOVES going to the dog park, chew toys, bones, running, and treats! She also likes baths/grooming and was being groomed at Petco; however, she sometimes gets carsick. This can be managed by medication and planning her meals accordingly on days she will be riding in the car.
