Age: 7 years Breed: Black and Tan Hound Arrived: April 2024 Slim is a gentle and sweet hound dog whoâs looking for a calm and loving home ??. Although heâs been on behavior medication and initially fearful in his kennel, Slim is much happier and more relaxed when heâs outside of it. Personality: Gentle and Social: In playgroups, Slim is gentle and dainty. Heâs social but usually prefers to keep to himself. Leash Skills: Slim pulls on the leash during walks and prefers not to take breaks. He shows curiosity about his surroundings but does not chase wildlife. Not Treat Motivated: Slim is not very interested in treats, so positive reinforcement may need to focus on other rewards or methods. Basic Commands: He knows basic commands like stay and come. Behavior in the Kennel: Fearful: Slim is fearful in his kennel and takes medication for his behavior. He has become less fearful over time but is much happier when he is out of the kennel.
