Blake was picked up as a stray by Animal Control and no one had come for him. He's a big boy at 28.8 lbs at Intake. He's not so much overweight, as just a big boy. We guess is he's mostly a standard dachshund mixed with something else. He definitely does not have the dachshund snout. Border Collie? Spaniel? Flat coat retriever? Guess away, cause Blake ain’t telling! Poor boy was in rough shape when he came into DREAM. Much hair loss and eyes filled with discharge-but all that's changed now. Blake’s hair is growing back and his eyes now twinkle with delight. His veterinarian aged him at 6-7 years with many years of love to share. Blake is 100% potty trained and will even whine at the door to let you know he needs to go out. That must come from outside of his dachshund heritage
