Much like his namesake from Tangled, Eugene is adventurous, charming, and a bit of a toy thief! He’s full of energy, always ready to play with other dogs and cleverly con humans out of treats, toys, and plenty of pets. While he enjoys snuggling from time to time, Eugene would much rather be running around and stirring up a little fun. If you’re looking for a playful, mischievous pup with a big heart, Eugene is your guy! Eugene and his family were strays living under an elderly lady’s house before coming into foster care. Eugene spends his day playing and rough-housing with his siblings, and he really does not like going back into his pen. He is very much an attention hog and will put himself in front of anyone offering affection. He is also ridiculously clumsy and will paw at you for more. Eugene was a little sickly due to living under a house with his siblings and mother, but he’s getting healthier every day. He whines when he gets put back in the playpen and when he wants out, usually to go potty, but sometimes just to play. It’s not constant, usually just for a few minutes. Another dog could be good for him, but having an energetic human would be just as good. He is very adventurous and playful. If you’re looking for a lively, affectionate, and mischievous pup to join your family, Eugene might be the perfect match for you! Eugene is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 11/2/2024 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 5pm and 9pm. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program.
