Buddy Rat Terrier Adult Male
Buddy is available for foster or foster-to-adopt, and will be available for adoption after his heart worm recheck in early June. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Buddy is currently fostered in Bradenton, FL (Manatee County).Buddy is a precious young fully grown rat terrier/corgi mixture that came to us from Louisiana, where he was found as a stray on the side of the road. He loves every dog and person he has met. He has not been tested with cats. Buddy is somewhat submissive in new situations, but given a little time to settle in, he will be your very best friend. He is good with other dogs, but can also be a solo companion provided you are not gone for long hours. He is more focused on people than other canines, and would make a adorable companion dog. He loves to ride in the car and is crate trained, house broken, and leash broken! He likes to play with toys, and will pretty much go along with whatever his person wants to do. He is not high energy, and tends to be a couch potato. If you are seeking a friend to take along on the boat, for leisurely walks in the woods, or a traveling companion this could be your new best friend!Buddy has been treated for heart worms and is currently in his 30 day rest period. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, and micro chipped.Visit this organization's website to see any additional details available about this pet.
