*Camo is on medical hold while he undergoes life-saving treatment for heart worm disease. He will be ready for a forever home September seventh*Camo is a big guy in a fun-sized package! This little fella has a big personality but is actually weighs in at bantam weight- a compact twenty pounds. Camo is a smart little guy who just wants love. Love from anyone! Men, women and especially children. He is quickly learning about all the things that go with being a good part of the family- he is doing well with his leash manners and house manners. His particular skills make him a good candidate for a tracking class. He is the type of dog that will enjoy a job and will enjoy staying active with you!Camo is an Australian Shepherd/Dachshund mixture who weighs 20 pounds and was born approx 6-6-16. He is neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. Camo is undergoing life-saving treatment for heart worm disease. He will need to remain on heart worm preventative for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 mons to ensure he is heart worm free. Adoption charge is $300 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption charges and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. The 1st step is to have you complete our on-line adoption form. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
