Hey! Don't judge a book by it's cover, I'm not overly smiley. I know. I guess I feel like I have to put on a tough exterior to make up for my "short man" syndrome. I'm really goofy and FUN! I really do love every person I have ever met! A random lady ran into me at a local store recently and had this to say: I was lucky enough to meet Chaz yesterday and he is an absolute doll! He is polite, sweet, smart and gorgeous! Two of our fur kids are his same breed and they are the absolute best! As I said, I am small for my breed! I'm only 40lbs and my head is only 19in off the ground. I photograph big, but I think that's my smashing personality coming through. I love a walk, a car ride, a cuddle, a snack...I love everything! Except for moths...they are weird. I sit on command AND I stay put too, until you release me with a "yes"! I also go to my kennel anytime you ask, but I could probably be free roaming doggie in a house if you let me. Yes, I do think I would like that. To top it all off, I'm playful and I like to retrieve a ball and play tug-o-war. I've been looking for a home since I was impounded at the shelter back in February 2024. That's a long time. I'd do anything for a home of my own!!! You can foster me or adopt me...just fill out the application and someone will take it from there. Discounts are available for adopters of our senior pets. Your adoption fee helps defray veterinary expenses while your pet was in our care. Your pet will be neutered, microchipped, current on shots, heartworm tested and treated if necessary; and started on heartworm preventative.
