Cinder is a scruffy, four-year-old, 16-pound Wire-Haired Dachshund mix with ears that do not work together. She is curious and independent, exploring the world at her leisure. She would do best in a home with a routine environment and older children. Cinder is open to cuddles after you take some time to earn her trust. She loves a good squeaky toy, but she has not mastered fetch yet. If you are looking for an alert little lady who will become the shadow you did not know you needed, give a call to meet her. The adoption fee is $225 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment.Adoption processHome Fur Good has trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$300 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked. If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions. We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. If there is a change of ownership we must be kept informed who responsible party is. Fees are non refundable.Shelter locationGo to www.homefurgood.org to see where you can meet our available pets. We do adoptions from shelter every Thursday 11:00am to 4:00 pm and we are at Petsmart Tatum and Shea every other Sunday from 11-3pm. Please check our website for more specifics.
