Clover and Nellie were spotted by us when we were at a very high kill shelter in Lancaster. They were picked up as strays and clearly were not treated well. I would guess they were kept in a backyard with no to little attention and then discarded. They are learning the ropes of the outside world and making great strides. They are super sweet and loving and are thrilled to get human attention. At about a year of age, they weigh just under 50 pounds, but could definitely gain a few pounds. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog for your next family member.Adoption processAll dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. The dogs that come out of our program are well socialized when they leave unless noted, both with people and other dogs. It is up to the new owners to maintain this. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An adoption fee, application, contract are required.
