Clyde is a stunning 5-6 month old boy who we believe is a husky/retriever mix with maybe some shepherd. He came to canine collective with 3 other siblings (all known as the Pac Man litter). Clyde is mostly all black with a white chest and white toes. His coat reflects a more lab/shepherd heritage, but his eyes are a beautiful golden amber. He is the smallest of the litter. We estimate he weighs about 28-30 lbsClyde is a very friendly, affectionate, and outgoing boy. He gets along grest with other dogs. He is very food driven so should be easy to train. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response. * Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member. * Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog! * Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord. * Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication. *Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets. *Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.Shelter locationBecause of Covid, we only make appointments for approved applicants.
