IT'S A LOT OF RIGAMAROLE TO GO THEOUGH, BUT WE TAKE DOG RESCUE VERY SERIOUSLY. Rio is ready to meet the world! He is a 3-year-old neutered male sable and white rough coated Collie. He is also, according to his foster mom, cuddly, funny, engaged, playful and sweet. His owner is no longer able to care for him, a sad commentary on life that we hear much too often these days. But Rio has moved seamlessly into a foster home that has gotten to know him very well and will be integral to finding him just the right match. A 3-year-old rough Collie is just about perfect. They are no longer nibbling on your furniture or peeing on the floor in the kitchen. They are certainly ready for the next adventure and to endear themselves to an entire family, adults and kids and other critter family members. Rio is an easy-going fellow who loves everyone and everything. He takes great pride in finding things like a blanket or a sock or a shoe and carrying the item around. He has never been destructive or ruined anything. That is just his quirky sense of humor showing itself. All of Rio's veterinary care is completed and all he needs is the right family to love and be loved forever. Prior Collie experience and a playful companion dog are required to make things perfect. Rio will be helping to screen the applications. Collies are just that smart!
