Cooley is just one cool little dude! At 15 years old he was found wandering in the woods alone, but thankfully he was rescued by a good samaritan and returned to us. When he first arrived Cooley was in rough shape, he could barely walk and was clearly in a lot of pain. But fast forward 2 weeks with lots of tlc and the proper medications and he has become a whole new dog! It turns out that Cooley is diabetic, but now that he's getting insulin every 12 hrs he has a new lease on life and is feeling great. He also takes a couple pills which he is happy to gobble up with food.Cooley loves to take walks, nap on pillows, and sit in your lap. He clearly had some hard times in his past and we would love to see him enjoy all the comforts of home for a while. Cooley is a wonderful dog and we would be glad to teach you how to administer the insulin. If there is room in your heart and home for Cooley please let us know!
