Copper was surrendered to the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. Copper is a 3-year-old, Redbone coonhound that currently weighs 53 pounds. He is a very handsome, but very energetic guy! He has never lived inside a house; with his previous family he lived in the barn with a kennel run. He will need someone that understands that he will need to learn what living in a home is all about. He is an outgoing guy that does jump up when excited but is working on this here at the shelter. Copper has never been around children and may be too much for small children, so an age restriction for children in the home may apply, please discuss this with shelter staff. Copper is a happy guy that would love to find his loving forever home soon! A knowledge of hounds would be best for his future family. He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/Lyme tested, and microchipped since his arrival at the shelter.
