Dachshund Mix Dog for Adoption in Weston, Florida, 33326 USNickname: Emily Dog Breed: Dachshund / Fox Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Emily is a 1 year old dachshund mix from Puerto Rico. She weighs 19 pounds. If anyone remembers Zafira, this is one of her babies. Zafira was on the streets in Puerto Rico and gave birth. A rescue person there took her and her babies in and the babies all found homes and Zafira made her way to us. Zafira has been adopted and sweet little Emily found herself back on the streets. So, of course, we said yes when we were contacted about taking her in. Emily is good with other dogs and people. She doesn’t like if other dogs go near her food, so small children wouldn’t be a good fit for her. She would also be fine as an only dog. Emily is a happy and loving girl who is looking forward to having a home of her own. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the DRSF Online Adoption form.
