Hey there! My name is Daisy Mae! I am a little beagle that was surrendered to the shelter because my owners didn't have time for me. I was very scared when I first came here. I didn't know who to trust and did not like my kennel. The longer I am here though, I am getting more confident and affectionate with the staff! Because it takes me a bit to warm up to people, I would do best in a home with kids that will respect my space and let me come to them. I also seem to do well with other dogs too but I can be a little hesitant at first. A calmer dog would be the perfect companion for me! I am so sweet once I warm up to you, and my sniffer can go a mile a minute too! Maybe adventures could be in our future! Do I sound like I could fit into your home and life? I'd love to meet you and hopefully find my way out of the shelter!
