Daisy Mae Duke is your typical black lab puppy, slick and shiny, lively and playful! This pretty little girl came to us after her owner moved away and left her and four siblings and their mom to fend for themselves in a very rural part of Arkansas. Fortunately, neighbors spotted the problem and moved in to help. Once safe, OOTW was contacted and the gears were put into motion.Daisy is a loving little girl who has spent her entire life outside but is doing quite well being an inside / outside doggie! At her foster home, Daisy has a doggie door that she is using at her whim. She is currently being crate trained and doing very well with that too. She's a friendly little girl who is a bit shy, especially at first, but once she knows you, she's okay with you. She is very good with kids and all the other dogs in her foster home. We would like to get Daisy into a home that has another dog as she seems to thrive in that environment instead of being an only dog. Daisy is about 6 months old (9/21/19) and weighs in at 24 pounds. She will probably be around 40 pounds when full grown. She has had all of her puppy shots, been wormed, is on flea/tick preventative and just started her heartworm preventative too!
