Howdy, folks! Name’s Dan, and I reckon y’all might know me from a mighty fine story called *Where the Red Fern Grows*. Yep, that’s right, I’m one of them famous hounds, or at least, I’m named after ‘em! Let me tell ya, I’m as sweet as a dollop of honey and I sure do love folks, just like Old Dan loved Billy in the book.I’ve been neutered, so I won’t be havin' no pups of my own, but that don’t bother me none. I’m all up to date on my vaccinations too, so I’m as healthy as a horse, and I got me a microchip so I don’t get lost—though I always find my way back to the people I love. Now, I’ve been searchin’ for a good ol’ home where I can share my love and loyalty. I’m just itchin' to find a family to call my own, where I can snuggle up and be the best dang companion a person could ever ask for.
