We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested if you have them Currently Living at: Shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to escape Dancer is Looking For: His forever home. This cutie is not long out of the puppy yips and hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet. He's eager to have his own humans for romps in parks and all the adventures they can dream up, and make lots of people and pup pals along the way. Exploring all the toys to see which he likes best sounds great too. And he's excited to go to dog school so he can show how super smart he is! Shelter staff say he's a really nice boy! He just wants to be a well-loved dog for all his days, under his own roof every time the sun goes down. In exchange he promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship. What do you say? The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!Shelter locationOur adoption events are held each weekend.
