Say hello to Dexter! Dexter is a 7-month-old Jack Russell Terrier mix. He weighs 16 lbs. and is full of energy! He originally came to us from another rescue partner. Dexter enjoys playtime with toys, walking or running with his volunteer friends, as well as pets and snuggles. He is outgoing, confident, and social. As a puppy, Dexter is still working on his manners and needs a home who will be patient with him as he learns the rules. Dexter would be open to meeting other dogs if you have them in your home. Some instances may require a home inspection. We require a meet and greet with all household members and resident dogs present at the shelter. FOR KITTENS ...Potential adopters will need to complete a Kitten Application and provide proof of vaccinations and spay/neuter for other animals living in the home. Renter must also provide a copy of their rental agreement showing pet allowance. The adoption fee is $130 for a DSH kitten, $160 for a DLH, specialty and purebred kittens. All kittens are flea treated, wormed, leukemia tested, and are up to date on shots as appropriate for their age. Adopter is responsible for remaining vaccines.
