This is Dexy, or Sexy Dexy to his friends. This boy is 4-5 years old and weighs 44 lbs. He came to us from another rescue. Dexy is an unknown mixed breed, though we think he has some Labrador Retriever in him. Dexy is friendly, social, and likes to receive pets. He enjoys meeting new people and is really happy when he gets to bust out of his kennel for walks with his volunteer friends. Dexy seems to get along with other dogs and would be open to meeting any canine friends you have in your home. He can be cat-tested if needed. We believe he’d do fine in a home with kids. Some instances may require a home inspection. We require a meet and greet with all household members and resident dogs present at the shelter. FOR KITTENS ...Potential adopters will need to complete a Kitten Application and provide proof of vaccinations and spay/neuter for other animals living in the home. Renter must also provide a copy of their rental agreement showing pet allowance. The adoption fee is $130 for a DSH kitten, $160 for a DLH, specialty and purebred kittens. All kittens are flea treated, wormed, leukemia tested, and are up to date on shots as appropriate for their age. Adopter is responsible for remaining vaccines.
