My mom was a full Mal who was found in South Texas last summer, me and my 4 brothers were pulled by MAD rescue and we all spread out over the US. I am the last one in my family who needs to find my own family. I know that my ears aren't like everyone else's and I am a muscly looking guy but the world is missing out on a truly great guy! My foster is working with me on learning all sorts of good habits! She told my Adoption Coordinator that I am doing great with recall on a long line! I've learned great house manners, I love playing with dogs, I know place and I love snackies! I really would love for someone to give me a second look and see me for the amazing guy I can be! He has been in a training program for the last month and is a new man! He has mastered the basics, added muscle on, has learned to play like a good boy and has cut the bad habits! This guy never has a bad day. He’s just always happy, always ready to play, and a goofy guy.He is beginning to mature out of adolescence and become a grounded boy!He has mastered crate training!He will go get a toy on his own now, and entertain himself.He is not even mouthy!He is doing much better at sitting to open doors instead of hurling himself at them.He sits now and politely waits for affectionHis tail CONSTANTLY wags.He never shows aggression at all. Just gets rough and will settle right back down to “nicer mode” with verbal intervention.He has shown zero food aggression around other dogs.He will share toys, and loves a good game of tug with a dog or a human.He has filled out some, mostly muscle.His confidence levels have greatly improved. He can be a bit whiny in his crate but generally this is when he hears other dogs playing here. In a home with his family, this will not be an issue. (Hello, FOMO )He must eat with a slow feeder. He is NEVER full.‍He plays a bit rough and tumble. His foster sister, being a bully mix handles it fine and this is why he mostly plays with her.
