Heartworm Positive My adoption fee is $250 which covers my annual distemper booster, rabies, and being spayed/neutered and microchipped. The rescue will pay for the injections for HW treatment at Shoreline Vet. in Jacksonville. My adopter would be responsible for the take home meds which average about $200, depending on size, over the 4-month span of treatment. I am heartworm positive…but you can still love me! I’m a stage 9 clinger! I want to be with my 4 legged and 2 legged friends, ALL THE TIME! I do well in my crate and let my foster parents know when I really have to go and can’t hold it. I’m great with other dogs once I warm up, I’m shy at first with dogs and people. I love kids too. My fosters have a teen and a toddler who I adore and love his snacks. I’m not sure about cats because my fosters don’t have cats, so I’ve never met one. I am the sweetest girl who needs time to adjust and decompress in a new home. Took me about 2 weeks in my foster home, but since then, I’ve shown my spunky, sweet, clingy personality. If you know anything about dobies, you know that being clingy is our thing. I want a family who will love my clinginess like my foster parents do!
