Good in a home withOther dogs, cats.Prefers a home withoutChildren.Adoption fee$350.00 Meet Charlie Charlie is a 3-year-old boy that is a long dog but mixed with what we are not sure, maybe lab and a few other things. We are going to do a DNA test to find out, so stay tuned for that. He is loyal to his people, but is shy, and scared of a lot of things too. He will love a home that has no little kids and is quiet because he loves couch activities like watching TV and napping. When napping he prefers to be on your lap of course, we think nobody told him he is a bit bigger than a lap dog. If he looks like the type of dog that you have been looking for let us know and we'll arrange a meet and greet for you. All our dogs are current on vaccinations which include Rabies and Distemper/Parvo, they are spayed and or neutered, have been fecal tested and heartworm tested, and had a dental cleaning if necessary. They are all on heartworm and flea/tick preventative as needed in rescue. They all will have a microchip that will be registered in the adopter's name and is good for a lifetime with no additional fees. The adoption process is an application, a vet reference, a home inspection, and a lifetime contract. The requested adoption donation for all our dogs is $350. We do not REQUIRE a fenced in yard (some dogs do not require a fence, if they can walk well on harness and leash. Decided by what is best for each dog individually.) We are willing to adopt out-of-state applicants, but you must travel to the foster home location of your dog which is in Omaha or within a 90-minute drive from the Omaha area to meet and travel home with your dog. We do not transport or ship dogs.
